This is the superintendent of Heber Springs Schools Alan Stauffacher. This morning the Heber Springs School District was conducting a routine lock down drill. During that drill, a student called their parent and the parent made a call to the police that the school had an active shooter. The school went into lock down again due to the call to the police. All students are safe at the school and there is no reason for concern.
